Like the song says, "Its a rainy night in Georgia"

The nice weather has moved on and we are experiencing rainy days here in North Georgia. Those are the best days for getting some quilting done!
I finished the custom Judy Niemeyer quilt.

I also quilted the first of two vintage tops for a customer. He wanted his Aunt's quilts finished for his children. The pattern on this is mind boggling!! All hand pieced, which has caused it to be very wonky. There are a few tucks in the fullest parts of the quilt, but even with those, it is stunning. This gal loved some bright, wild prints! I just love the whole thing. 80 x 100".
I love this quilt!! Mostly 1950s fabrics
How about these wacky pink tools?!
An eye-popping bold print

The customer wanted a simple muslin back and this Baptist fan panto.

Tim stayed busy , quilting and then mailing quilts off to our waiting customers.

Happy Birthday baby quilt from a new Gandma

Panto: Dragonflies
Beautiful batik Turning Twenty
Panto: Retro Leaves

In the afternoon, I worked on the second vintage quilt. This one is a wonderful scrappy double wedding ring, done in mostly 1050s fabrics, too. Some of the prints from the other quilt are in this one, too. The pink tools, the funky bright print, the dark pink roses, and the red checks and dots. She really busted her scrap basket stash with this 78x 100" quilt.

1950s teenager legs. Dig those saddle shoes!
Horse legs. Typical 50s cowboy print.

Mr Wazoo got in a bit of leaf raking during a break in the weather

The leaves are passing peak quickly here. The trees and mountain are starting to look bare.

Winter is just around the corner.
